Parental guide, intellectual output 3

The third intellectual output of the project, Parental Involvement in Schooling, is now available for download.

It was agreed from the beginning of the project that we would pay special attention to how the schools were using digital tools to involve parents in supporting the work of the school. We felt that this was an area that had not received sufficient attention and that it merited more analysis given the essential importance of good communications between school and home and, in particular, the potential offered by the availability of digital tools in the home and wider community that could be utilised more to enhance the learning of students. This report, therefore, describes the most salient and effective channels observed during the project, in the four different countries, by which such communication and support could be implemented for the benefit of all learners.
