Ingredients:

  • Buttermilk
  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Flour
  • White cheese (or feta or cottage cheese)
  • Parsley
  • Sunflower oil
  1. Make a dough: 500 ml of buttermilk, 1/ teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt, flour as much as you need.
  2. Make a well in flour and kneed the dough.
  3. Mix cheese with salt and parsley.
  4. Make out of dough small balls, roll them, fill with cheese, close the sides and flatten them a little bit.
  5. Fry them in sunflower oil (shallow fry) on each sides. They can be eatenwith savoury dishes, sour cream, jam or honey.
